Voting begins for MSU’s student government

Felicia Jansen wants to make a difference on campus. Sunday, she walked around a carnival hosted by ASMSU, MSU’s undergraduate student government, introducing herself to students and, unknown to her, ASMSU President Evan Martinak. The biomedical laboratory science junior met Martinak for the first time while she campaigned as a candidate for ASMSU’s general assembly.

Everyone goes green with sustainability

For students who attended the U.S. Green Building Council Students Regional Conference this weekend, “Go Green” was more than just a cheer for the university’s colors. The U.S. Green Building Council, or USGBC, student group at MSU hosted more than 60 students and professionals interested in sustainability on campus for the region’s first conference.
