Senior cornerback Chris L. Rucker was arrested early Sunday morning for drunken driving and property damage. Rucker was arrested near the 300 block of Grove Street, according to a copy of the ticket, and was released the same day on a $200 bond. The ticket indicates there was a traffic crash, but is not specific on the nature or extent of property damage. At the time of arrest, Rucker had a blood alcohol content level of .10.

A new building for a 911 call center, combining the current East Lansing and Lansing dispatch center, will cost more than projected, however county officials said the county still is saving money.
