After a week of praising the offense, it was the MSU defense that stole the show with a 33-27 victory in the second jersey scrimmage on Friday.The scrimmage went 124 plays with a modified scoring system that gave the defense 27 points to start the scrimmage.

It has gone from a cool event started in Spartan Stadium, to a staple of both the college and professional hockey season. MSU and U-M announced Monday they will play an outdoor hockey game at Soldier Field in Chicago on Feb. 7, 2015.

Spartan basketball to head to Disney World during Thanksgiving for Orlando Classic
The tournament will take place at the HP Field House at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. At 6:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving night, the Spartans will face off against Rider for the first round of the tournament. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN2.
