Former ASMSU member accuses chairperson of wrongfully receiving money

A meeting of ASMSU’s Academic Assembly Budget and Standards Committee became heated Tuesday during performance reviews of the assembly’s chairpersons when a former member accused the current chairperson of wrongfully receiving money over the summer without doing adequate work. ASMSU is MSU’s undergraduate student government.

Academic Governance to review ASMSU elections

A review of MSU’s student government election processes was ordered Thursday by the University Committee on Academic Governance, or UCAG, following concerns regarding last spring’s elections. But one group is questioning the committee’s authority to look into the matter.
