ACC prevails in challenge for 9th straight season

The ninth Big Ten/ACC Challenge went just like the previous eight, as the ACC won eight of the 11 games. While Penn State’s Mike Walker led the Nittany Lions to a win with 17 points, the consensus top-two teams in the conference took different routes to their win.

Entering her last season, senior guard Alisa Wulff is ready to do more of what she’s been doing for the MSU women’s basketball team from the beginning — being a leader. MSU freshman guard Durrell Summers cut behind a defender, caught a backdoor bounce pass, leapt and went under the basket while kissing a reverse layup off the backboard. He rolled across the floor to the sideline after being fouled while the ball bounced around in the cylinder before dropping in.
