Bryn Drescher said she expects she will confront some of her fears as she ventures into the unknown this weekend as part of a reality show. Students feel uneasy after 2nd shooting

No new details have been released about a shooting that took place Saturday morning at the Crossing Place Apartments, 3636 Coleman Road, and injured one person. The shooting occurred early Saturday morning in the apartment complex, which witnesses said occurred at about 1 a.m.. Police said the shooting was not fatal. This is the second shooting to take place at the complex in the past two months.

ROTC reacts to DADT repeal

Congress reversed the course of 17 years of history last month when the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” or DADT, policy barring military servicemen and women from disclosing their homosexuality was struck down. MSU’s ROTC programs since have been going with the flow; that flow, though, is somewhat slow.

Editorial on gender-neutral housing poorly reasoned

This is in response to the last Friday’s editorial, MSU should move forward on gender-neutral housing, (SN 1/28). The reasons provided supporting gender-neutral housing on campus were: A bare majority (56 percent) of students want it for themselves, transgender students would no longer feel discriminated against and unisex bathrooms would be offered.
