When head coach Mark Dantonio watched the MSU football team’s first jersey scrimmage of preseason camp on August 13, he thought the team’s overall conditioning and energy level needed to improve. With her second-half break-away goal, senior forward Laura Heyboer became MSU’s all-time leading goal scorer and secured her place as one of the elite in the history of the program.
