“I wish I could sit here and act like math isn’t hard, but the truth is, it just is. And that is why we are doing everything we can to make it easier for students,” said Chair of the Department of Mathematics Keith Promislow.
MSU police report they have taken two men into custody for the recent theft of laptop computers and other electronic devices from multiple residence halls on campus. While the investigation is ongoing, the department said it will seek charges through the Ingham County Prosecutor’s Office. The thefts, which occurred in Holden Hall and other parts of campus, involved two suspects entering unlocked dorm rooms and making off with laptop computers. MSU police are urging students to lock their rooms and keep belongings in secure locations.
MSU police have sent out an alert of a bomb threat on campus, and are urging students to stay where they are with a secure in place. No location for the threat has been specified. Stay tuned for an update.
