Dantonio unveils Spartan Stadium renovations on Twitter

MSU football head coach Mark Dantonio gave his Twitter followers a glimpse of the new Spartan Stadium renovations earlier today. The $24 million renovation to the north end zone of the stadium, scheduled to be completed before the start of the 2014 season, includes new locker rooms, a media center, a training room and recruiting lounge.   Dantonio's photos include a panorama of locker room upgrade, murals next to the Ben & Barb Maibach Welcome Center and player's locker room, and an outside view of the project.

NHL drafts incoming MSU hockey freshman

Defenseman Josh Jacobs was selected 41st in the draft pick by the New Jersey Devils during Saturday’s second round of the draft in Philadelphia. Jacobs formerly played for the Indiana Ice hockey team in the United States Hockey League for two seasons and is the first Spartan to be drafted by New Jersey since 1984.

The 2014 NBA Draft, which will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, will air live on ESPN Thursday night at 7 p.m.It could be a historic night for the MSU basketball program as former MSU guard Gary Harris and former MSU forward Adreian Payne could become lottery picks, which would be the first time two MSU players are drafted in the top-14
