Four of the five players on the first team come from the program’s best team in 2004-05. Liz Shimek and Lindsey Bowen are the top two scorers in program history, and Kristen Haynie was the cornerstone of that team.

MSU closed the season with a 17-16 record and qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the third time in four seasons.
