MSU running backs LJ Scott and Madre London emerge in Spartan backfield

On Saturday night, after MSU (2-0 overall) defeated Oregon (1-1 overall) 31-28 any questions about the Spartans backfield have disappeared.  Sophomore running back Madre London and freshman running back LJ Scott emerged as the lead backs in MSU's monumental win. London carried the ball 18 times for 114 yards and a touchdown and Scott had 11 carries for 76 yards and two touchdowns.

MSU football reserve safety Mark Meyers was arrested during the weekend and subsequently jailed on charges of operating while intoxicated, according to a report on isportsweb.com. According to the report, he was jailed at Ingham County Jail Sunday morning.
