Air Force football players deal with hectic schedule

The MSU football team will not be playing typical student-athletes when they line up against the Air Force Falcons on Saturday. The Spartans will face a team of servicemen; cadet-athletes who immerse themselves into the military culture first and study their craft first and play football second.

MSU Kendo Club teaches students Japanese way of the sword

Michigan State University’s Kendo Club meets every Monday and Wednesday from 8 pm to 10 pm in IM Circle in order to teach, spread and practice the Japanese way of the sword. According to the club’s guidebook, they have been in existence since 1974 and have been practicing bi-weekly since its origination.

MSU running backs LJ Scott and Madre London emerge in Spartan backfield

On Saturday night, after MSU (2-0 overall) defeated Oregon (1-1 overall) 31-28 any questions about the Spartans backfield have disappeared.  Sophomore running back Madre London and freshman running back LJ Scott emerged as the lead backs in MSU's monumental win. London carried the ball 18 times for 114 yards and a touchdown and Scott had 11 carries for 76 yards and two touchdowns.
