The MSU Breakdance Club is full of ambitious hip-hop loving students looking to make friends and have fun while doing what they love. The club has been growing for the last two years and this year is no exception, said club president and mechanical engineering senior Michael Doa. “In years’ past we would have about ten to twenty kids but it was just last year that we doubled and now we have an incredibly large group compared to past years and hopefully this year will be even better,” Doa said.

The Spartans’ 30-10 victory over Central Michigan left much to be desired and raised health questions, but there were good take-aways as well. MSU Volleyball began the Big Ten season with a win over Indiana Friday night. The Spartans swept the Hoosiers in the three straight sets to improve to 9-3 on the season and 1-0 in conference play.

Senior wide receiver Aaron Burbridge has been named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week after career highs in receptions (8), yards (156) and touchdowns (3) against Air Force. Burbridge’s performance tied the MSU record for receiving touchdowns in a game and solidified his role as the Spartans’ top target. Burbridge, just three games into the season, has already broke his career high for total receiving yards and has amassed over 100 yards in each of the Spartans’ 2015 games. “You got to go out there with the confidence to know what you are doing,” Burbridge said after the game on Saturday.
