Tailgating passes must now be reserved over Internet

This year, tailgaters are going to have to make an extra stop to get their tennis court parking pass — the Internet. ASMSU will require students to reserve their tailgating passes before paying for them in person at its office, 307 Student Services.

Bush addresses RNC via satellite; absence disappoints delegates

The crowd’s energy was in full swing at Xcel Energy Center during the Republican National Convention on Tuesday, even if it was a day late. And all eyes at the convention zeroed in on the large TV screens after 9 p.m. as President Bush appeared via satellite. The delegation gave the satellite appearance a standing ovation, cheering into the first words of his speech.

Police Brief 09/03/08

A 17-year-old MSU student had several articles of clothing stolen from East Holmes Hall on Wednesday. The value of the clothing is estimated at $82, MSU police Sgt. Shaun Mills said.
