Simon speaks up on federal assault investigation

President Lou Anna K. Simon tried to play down information surrounding the federal investigation into Title IX sexual assault and violence complaints against the university Monday, calling the investigation "a review" and saying she looks forward to working with the Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights, or OCR.During the Academic Governance meeting on Tuesday, Simon said the investigation merely was a "review" of university practices by the federal government.
