Many experts considered Sunday’s debate to be Democratic gubernatorial candidate and Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero’s last chance to gain ground on Republican gubernatorial candidate and Ann Arbor businessman Rick Snyder, but according to a new poll, he failed to do so. The Lansing area could see several new businesses spring up after an entrepreneurial support organization called Leap Inc. received nearly $200,000 from the Regional Entrepreneurial Collaborative grant program.
