A group of MSU faculty has circulated a petition demanding an end to MSU’s controversial gambling deal. In response to the petition, the interim provost said this is "exactly what is being worked on now by the president as she indicated in her remarks to the faculty senate."
The final student who was critically injured during the Feb. 13 shooting on Michigan State University’s campus has been released from Sparrow Hospital on Tuesday, April 4, according to MSU Police and Public Safety.

On April 3, 2023, the MSU Union officially opened its doors to welcome students and community members back into its building. Countless student workers began preparing for their shift to see familiar faces and student customers, while students prepare to enter the building again after almost two months.
