Flooding houses with dirty water isn’t the only way East Lansing’s frequently clogged sewage system flexes its muscle. Some local business owners believe the sewers’ overwhelming odor is wretched enough to deter customers from visiting their stores.
Senior running back Jehuu Caulcrick carried the Spartan offense in the first half against Alabama-Birmingham, but he also took the Blazer defense for a ride.
It might be said that MSU was anxious to start its new season and new football life. The score in Saturday’s game certainly reflected that.
What a beautiful Saturday to kick off the 2007 college football season. Not only was East Lansing al…
A couple hundred East Lansing residents were left in the dark around 9 p.m. Thursday, the result of a broken underground cable that cut power to parts of the city.
Lansing police have identified 27-year-old Matthew Emmanuel Macon as the man they believe is responsible for five recent homicides and one assault.
While most MSU students could pick out Lansing using their hand as a map, recent city officials have recognized that the spot on their palm hasn’t been a lifeline.
With the onset of a new football season, perhaps it is time to reconsider the institutional culture of the MSU flag corps.
