New coach. New game plan. New attitude. New season. Time to get out there and play. It’s been nearly a year since former MSU football head coach John L. Smith was ousted from his coaching position. It’s been nearly a year since junior running back Javon Ringer blew out his knee. It’s been nearly a year since a season of disappointment and frustration.

Mich. house votes to bump up primary

The Michigan House voted Thursday to move the state’s presidential primary from Feb. 26 to Jan. 15. The change in date, if approved by Gov. Jennifer Granholm, would make Michigan the third state in the country to hold its primary.

Students 'Fuze' for ad win

Last January, five MSU students had no idea that the senior project they worked on in Advertising 486 would win a national competition with Fuze beverages, a Coca-Cola-owned company that produces a number of healthy beverages in uniquely shaped bottles.
