Renovations to two residence halls and a proposed loan increase to finance MSU in Dubai will highlight the MSU Board of Trustee meeting today. The board’s decisions will involve more than $9 million in imporvements to Holden Hall, more than $12 million in upgrades to Mary Mayo Hall.

Icers, Wolverines to renew hotly contested rivalry this weekend
The MSU hockey team fared well against top-ranked Michigan the last time the two teams battled, robbing the No. 1 Wolverines of three points. The squads meet again today after playing twice earlier in the season, which included a Spartans shutout in Ann Arbor and a tie at Munn Ice Arena.

It’s 2:30 on a Tuesday afternoon in the Duffy Daugherty Football Building weight room, and less than a dozen MSU athletes are working out. Aisha Jefferson, a 6-foot-1 junior forward on the MSU women’s basketball team, has already been going hard for close to an hour, and the perspiration is building on her forehead.
