It also is important that we take time to reflect on how far this nation has come since the time of slavery and the Civil Rights Movement. I think it’s wonderful that we have a month dedicated to black history, but it bothers me that there is a need for it.

A wallet containing a debit card, two MSU hockey tickets and a student ID was stolen from a locker in the Snyder-Phillips Hall cafeteria kitchen between 9:40 p.m. Jan. 21 and 1:15 a.m. Jan. 22, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
