UAB annual craft show at MSU Union

University Activities Board will be hosting the Holiday Arts and Crafts Show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Union. There will be four floors of booths featuring more than 200 artists from around the country.

World AIDS Day holds MSU events

Kresge Art Museum will display the NAMES Project AIDS Quilt at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Main Gallery. The quilt is an ongoing community arts project featuring more than 40,000 panels, many of which memorialize the life of a person lost to AIDS.

Winter Wonderland comes to Eastwood

The Eastwood Winter Wonderland will be happening from 4-7 p.m., Saturday at the Eastwood Towne Center, 3003 Preyde Blvd., in Lansing. This holiday event will also be taking place both Dec. 12 and 19 and will feature jolly old St. Nick and his sleigh.

Partying habits need to be re-examined after deaths

In the past month, the MSU community has had to deal with the tragic deaths of two students. On Nov. 5, Alpha Epsilon Pi member and business sophomore Ryan Rosman was killed after being dragged by a bus in Detroit, and Nov. 21, Alpha Gamma Rho and environmental soil science and chemistry senior Brian McMillen died of unknown causes.
