About 20 trash bags full of cans were allegedly stolen sometime between Nov. 10 and Friday from Landon Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

Students, community celebrate religious differences

In a local episcopal church, students and community members listened to readings from religious holy books, including the Torah, the Bhagavad Gita and the Quran. Despite religious differences, people from many faiths celebrated Thanksgiving together on Monday evening at All Saints Episcopal Church, 800 Abbot Road.

Brian Middleton decided to join Spectrum, the LBGT caucus for the East Neighborhood, as a way to meet other people in the LBGT community. In his hometown, there weren’t the type of resources and groups for LBGT people he’s seen so far at MSU.

Dantonio sticks up for Spartans despite polls

Mark Dantonio is a little disappointed in how forgetful fans and pollsters seem to be this season when it comes to his No. 11 MSU football team. Back in the first week of Big Ten play, the Spartans defeated No. 5 Wisconsin, 34-24, in dominant fashion. But the Badgers are six spots ahead of MSU in the latest Associated Press poll.
