Police make arrests in string of laptop thefts

MSU police report they have taken two men into custody for the recent theft of laptop computers and other electronic devices from multiple residence halls on campus. While the investigation is ongoing, the department said it will seek charges through the Ingham County Prosecutor’s Office. The thefts, which occurred in Holden Hall and other parts of campus, involved two suspects entering unlocked dorm rooms and making off with laptop computers.  MSU police are urging students to lock their rooms and keep belongings in secure locations.
