MSU will be home to a new social media research and development center after university officials announced Monday a partnership with a networking enterprise company. The university is partnering with INgage Networks of Naples, Fla., a company that helps businesses and government entities use networking and social media to solve various problems.

Lauren Myers brought a little piece of Spain to Kresge Art Center on Wednesday, meshing her taste and artistic technique with that of renowned surrealism artist Salvador Dali. Myers, an apparel and textile design senior, exhibited a Dali-inspired gown and two other artistic design pieces in the 2010 Apparel and Textile Design Exhibition, along with 16 other undergraduate students, said Theresa Winge, assistant professor in the Department of Art and Art History.
The Michigan Political Leadership Program, or MPLP, will introduce its 24 newest inductees at fundraising events Thursday and Friday in Grand Rapids and Livonia. The 18-year-old political training program was founded by MSU.
