To put it lightly, it was a pretty good weekend for the MSU women’s tennis team. At the Spartan Invitational held this weekend at the Wilson tennis courts, the Spartans routed their competition, going 30-1 in singles matches and 11-2 in doubles.

Wisconsin athletics was celebrating both at home and in East Lansing on Saturday. The MSU volleyball team (9-7 overall, 0-4 Big Ten) felt the same pain in East Lansing as the MSU football team did in Madison.

The CCHA announced on Sept. 25 at its annual media day that it will use a two-referee, two-linesman system for 14 of the league’s exhibition games this season as the NCAA looks to make a change in officiating system.
