MSU's State of Fifths, a co-ed a cappella group founded in 2008, will open up for Vocalosity at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cobb Great Hall in the Wharton Center. The group was chosen through a public vote with 97.5 NOW FM. The group performed its rendition of "Waiting on the World to Change" for the contest.

A new, all-bronze Sparty Statue at the Union is to be unveiled next fall, Union director Tami Kuhn said. Kuhn also said she believes the statue will become just as iconic as Beaumont Tower, Spartan Stadium and the original Spartan Statue.
