'And Away We Go' coming to MSU's Studio 60

"And Away We Go," a MSU theater production featuring six students, is set to take the stage at 8 p.m. Jan. 22 at at the Studio 60 Theatre in the basement of the Auditorium. The show will run until Jan. 31 and is written by Terrence McNally.

It will be directed by Ann Folino White and involves "a madcap journey through theatre history, with a troupe of actors romping across time including Ancient Greece and Elizabethan England, among other dramatic vistas," according to the MSU Department of Theatre's website.

The show will feature theatre graduate student Karen Vance, theatre graduate student Greg Hunter II, theatre senior Madelayne Shammas, theatre junior Lee Cleaveland, theatre junior Derek Bry and James Madison College freshman Anna Birmingham.

Each student plays six roles in the play for a total of 36 different roles throughout.
