Ex-MSU basketball player Keith Appling is wanted in connection to the death of a 66-year-old man after a verbal altercation turned physical, according to a release from the Detroit Police Department.

He is considered to be armed and dangerous.

In February 2020, Appling was arrested in Warren, Michigan for having 19 grams of heroin in his car. Prior, he spent a year in jail after facing multiple charges after discarding a gun while fleeing from officers.
