It’s Valentine’s Day. You’re getting ready for your date at the classiest establishment: Olive Garden. As you’re throwing on your favorite pair of slacks or dress, you realize you’re just minutes away from endless salad and breadsticks.

Oh no! You forgot to make a playlist!

Don’t worry. From getting ready, to setting the mood after you stuff your face with bottomless pasta, all the way to an unexpected breakup, The State News has you covered.

Here is our Valentine’s Day playlist:

When we said we made you a playlist for your full night, we meant it. The first seven songs of the playlist are perfect for getting ready for the big date. Here's what we included:

Dream Boy - Beach Bunny

Sunday Best - Surfaces

Watermelon Sugar - Harry Styles

100 Degrees - Rich Brian

Brandy (You're a Fine Girl) - Looking Glass

Pray 4 Love - Travis Scott (feat. The Weeknd)

My Girl - The Temptations

Now, when you're buckling up in the car and getting ready to make your trip to the finest Italian restaurant where everybody is treated like family. You have to have some great sing along songs to belt out together on the trip over, so the next eight songs are for you and your date to throw a rave on the trip over. Together, we came up with these:

Old School Love - Lupe Fiasco (feat. Ed Sheeran)

Riptide - Vance Joy

I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me) - Whitney Houston

Introducing Me (From "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam") - Nick Jonas

Take Me - Aly & AJ

LOVE. FEAT. ZACARI. - Kendrick Lamar

I Like Me Better - Lauv

Lose It - SWMRS

You've pulled into the Olive Garden, after filling your heads with vibes the entire car ride, it's time to slow it down a little bit. You don't need songs you have to sing along to now, but you still need something playing in the background while you talk the night away. Here are the songs you should have humming quietly during your endless-pasta bowl adventure:

The Night We Met - Lord Huron

All To Myself - Dan + Shay

Say You Won't Let Go - James Arthur

Lucky - Jason Mraz

All of Me - John Legend

Thinking out Loud - Ed Sheeran

Can I Have This Dance (From "High School Musical 3: Senior Year") - The Cast of High School Musical, Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron

You're full. We know, we would be too. But the music can't stop. For the ride home you'll need to set the mood, express your love in the form of music, but still keep the vibes from the car ride there going. Here, try these:

Ivy - Frank Ocean

Drew Barrymore - Bryce Vine

Bring It On Home to Me - Sam Cooke

It's You - Ali Gatie

Finally // beautiful stranger - Halsey

Pretty Little Fears (feat. J. Cole) - 6LACK

The Long Way - Brett Eldredge

I Wanna Love You - Just Friends

Now you're home. You've enjoyed some sensual magic in the form of Frank Ocean and Sam Cooke on the ride back, so now what? Well ... you tell us:

Dress - Taylor Swift

Acquainted - The Weeknd

Often - The Weeknd

Bad (feat. Tiara Thomas) - Wale

Love Me Harder - Ariana Grande, The Weeknd

In The Night - The Weeknd

Love Me Like You Do (From "Fifty Shades of Grey") - Ellie Goulding

Love On The Brain - Rihanna

This next section isn't for everyone, hopefully you lovebirds don't make it past the "Back Home" part of the playlist. But if something goes wrong, maybe right (we don't judge), you may be broken up with on Valentine's Day. Well, you're allowed to get sad, we will even help. Here's "The Breakup:"

SUGAR - BROCKHAMPTON

1 SIDED LOVE - blackbear

Someone You Loved Lewis Capaldi

Cherry - Harry Styles

The End of the World - Sharon Van Etten

You should be sad - Halsey

Marvins Room - Drake

Ring Off - Beyonce

Chanel - Frank Ocean

All I Want - Olivia Rodrigo
