Newsroom spaces are being sold and more and more student newspapers are going under, but I'm hopeful that The State News is here to stay.
Being back in an in-person environment this fall is giving me endless hope for the success of this next year. While it was nice just rolling over and grabbing my laptop on snowy days, I can't wait for the minor slips and falls December can bring just feel like a student again.
I think it's special that even in the loneliness of a pandemic I am able to feel a close connection with people who aren't even aware I exist.
