Plaintiff Jane Doe 03 is suing MSU, the MSU Board of Trustees, Nassar, MSU Sports Medicine Clinic and USA Gymnastics. The defendants were issued summons on Feb. 27.

Louis Corey of the Corey Law Firm filed two other lawsuits for Nassar survivors on Feb. 18.

Jane Doe 03 was digitally penetrated vaginally and anally by Nassar when she was 15 to 17 years old, according to lawsuit filings. The lawsuit asks for a jury trial. There are no damages listed in the lawsuit at this point.

Corey could not be reached for comment at the time of publication.

The first lawsuit against MSU was filed on Jan. 10, 2017, by Rachael Denhollander, the first Nassar survivor to publicly tell her story.

Nassar was sentenced for 10 counts of criminal sexual conduct in Ingham and Eaton counties. He was also sentenced for three counts related to child pornography in federal court.

Nassar is now held in federal prison in Tuscan, Arizona.

On Feb. 27, three MSU residential colleges held a Teach-In/Learn-In, as "an act of protest," in regards to MSU's handling of Nassar.

Ten bills were introduced to the Michigan House and Senate on Feb. 26, aimed at combating sexual abuse.
