MSU police arrest man in connection with East McDonel Hall armed robbery

MSU police arrested a man on April 15 for an armed robbery which occurred the day before at East McDonel Hall, according to a statement released by the department.

Tyrese Dajon-Rayshawn King, 18, is facing two charges of armed robbery, one count of home invasion in the first degree and one felony firearm charge. King, of Detroit, has no university affiliation.

He was arraigned April 17 in front of Ingham County District Judge Thomas Boyd and is being held at the Ingham County Jail on a $75,000 cash bond.

King’s preliminary examination is scheduled for April 28 in front of Richard D. Ball at 54-B District Court in East Lansing, according to the statement.
