Hello Spartans! Here are your top stories for this week.
MSU won the Big Ten championship game against Iowa, 16-13, and Cedar Village had its usual celebration. A giant teddy bear and a dumpster were some of the things set on fire. Eight people were arrested during the celebrations.
Sydney Gort, the packaging junior charged with two counts of making terrorist threats in the MSU School of Packaging, was denied a request for a personal recognizance bond. The judge lowered her bond from $250,000 to $100,000.
Gov. Rick Snyder declared Friday, Dec. 4, Spartan Green Day in honor of MSU football. The proclamation, drafted akin to a legislative proposal, summarizes the success of the 2015 MSU football team and urges citizens throughout Michigan to wear green in support of the team.
