Minyao Zheng
Advertising senior
“I’m an international student and I know a lot of students from my country, China, come to MSU to study. The office of international students did a pretty good job on the organizing of events and helping them to adjust to the environment to study in the U.S. I feel they did a good job.”
Patrick Bruening
Computer science junior
“I think MSU racially is very diverse. I worked for orientation this summer and we made sure we learned about all the different multicultural options that were available to students of different ethnic backgrounds and there is such a wide variety of them available throughout campus.”
Tabitha Skervin
International relations, junior
“There are a lot of ideas or philosophies that are very American or are very upper-middle class-esque (at MSU). There’s also just a lack of diversity in race and ethnicities as well as classes, like social classes.”
Aleisha Batiste
Psychology junior
“I actually love the diversity because I’ve met so many people from different backgrounds and it allows me to learn more about other people.”
Kai-Ting Yu
Advertising graduate student
“I think Michigan State University has diversity in the international students and we can see on campus there are many races and many students from different countries.”
