Facebook photo fiasco

Two female students were each assaulted twice Sunday between 12:45-1:15 a.m. after an argument over a picture on Facebook.com, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. While attending a party at Cedar Village, two 19-year-old students started arguing with two unknown females who were upset over an online picture of them kissing a male, McGlothian-Taylor said. The two victims left the party, but were followed to the area south of Spartan Stadium, where one victim was punched in the face. The victims ran to North Wonders Hall, where a witness reported seeing the assaulted female’s face being pushed into a glass door and another female being scratched and struck in the chest after a verbal argument, McGlothian-Taylor said. The witness reported seeing two males in the vicinity.

The two unknown females were described as 18 to 20 years old. Police are investigating the incident.
