MSU Ballet Club embraces storytelling through dance in Spring Showcase
Fairies, magical flowers and romantic mishaps collided in "A Midsummer Night’s Dream," the Michigan State University Ballet Club’s feature piece in their Spring Showcase. The showcase was held on April 12 at 1:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the RCAH Theater in Snyder Phillips Hall.
MSU Roial Players presents 'A Matter of Life and Sketch'
The Michigan State University Roial Players Just a College Sketch Show (Roial JACSS) held its annual Sketch Show on April 4-6 at the RCAH Theater. The show, titled “A Matter of Life and Sketch,” revolved around six comedy actors trapped in a theater who must put on an impromptu sketch show for their live audience.
Spartina: Yearbook character reflects women's impact on campus
Located on the first floor of the MSU Library is a display highlighting past MSU yearbooks, and the 1945 Wolverine edition features a character called Spartina, Sparty’s girlfriend. Spartina was a reflection of how campus that year was made up of mostly female students while many of the male students were fighting in World War II.
VIM fashion show gives a look 'Behind the Seams'
VIM's annual spring fashion show was held on Thursday, March 27, at 7 p.m. The show featured designs from 20 different student designers, and members of the club modeled each look down the runway.
'Life of Pi' transforms the Wharton Center stage
The newest show at the Wharton Center for Performing Arts is 'Life of Pi,' which opened on Tuesday, March 11 and will be running until Sunday, March 16. The cast of the show gathered in the Wharton Center on March 12 to answer questions from fans and community members.
