Final Four pep rally to be held Friday in Troy

MSU head basketball coach Tom Izzo will headline a Spartans pep rally Friday at Somerset Mall in Troy, about 20 miles north of Detroit’s Ford Field.

The pep rally, hosted by the MSU Alumni Association, is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Izzo, MSU President Lou Anna K. Simon, MSU Athletics Director Mark Hollis and the Spartan Brass are expected to be in attendance.

The event is free to the public and those wearing MSU apparel can get free hot dogs and ice cream.
