Blaze Pizza opens on Grand River

March 27, 2017

There is yet another pizza option for East Lansing residents as Blaze Pizza opened Monday at 437 E. Grand River Ave. Blaze Pizza opened among a rash of East Lansing businesses that closed during the past year

"Grand River Avenue is a great place to be, and of course the university is right across the street," director of operations Ryan Fauble said. "Blaze really has a connection with college students."

Blaze Pizza is the third pizza place to open along Grand River Avenue since January, and the eighth between Harrison Road and Hagadorn Road.

On Jan. 10, LOTSA Stone Fired Pizza opened and Sir Pizza opened on March 3

On Tuesday, Blaze Pizza will give away free pizza from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. to those who follow their Twitter, Facebook or Snapchat, Fauble said.

"Get here early. The later you get here, the longer the line is going to be," Fauble said. "We really want to get the word out by having people get a chance to try our pizza."

According to their website, this is the eighth location in Michigan.
