The fewest number of crime incidents of the entire football season occurred on Saturday after MSU's rout of Indiana, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

MSU's victory against Oregon, the first home game of the season, still holds the record with 53 citations.

The only game coming close was the game against Central Michigan University with 22 citations.

MSU police reported very few incidents for Indiana:

  • Four total citations
  • Three minor in possessions
  • One incident of urinating in public

The low stats for Purdue:

  • Five total citations

Here are the stats for MSU's victory against CMU.

  • Three drunk and disorderly
  • Four ordinance Violations
  • Two disorderly Conduct violations

McGlothian-Taylor said about half the citations were issued to people who weren't MSU students, though many were students at Central Michigan University.

The stats for the MSU vs. Air Force game were the lowest of the season.

  • 11 total citations
  • One ordinance violation
  • Nine minor in possessions
  • One trespassing

And the MSU vs. Oregon game can boast the most citations of the season.

  • Seven ordinance violations
  • Five drunk and disorderly arrests
  • One domestic assault
  • One assault and battery incident occurred the night after the Sept. 12 game against Oregon, MSU police Sgt. Paul Kuchek said.
