2 killed in overnight motorcycle crash

June 20, 2015

Two people were killed early Saturday morning, around 1:47 a.m., after their motorcycle collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Durand Street and Albert Avenue, according to an East Lansing police statement.

The driver and passenger of the motorcycle, 24-year-old Levi Light and 22-year-old Reba Williams, were found dead at the scene, according to the statement.

While the statement did not list their places of residence, neither are listed as students or employees on MSU's people search.

The driver of the other vehicle did not sustain life threatening injuries, according to the statement.

The accident remains under investigation by East Lansing police.

East Lansing police initially stated the accident occurred at the intersection of Durand and Orchard streets. They have since restated that the correct intersection is Durand Street and Albert Avenue, and the article has been changed to reflect this.
