Rock the block, just don’t stalk the block
MSU Live On's Rock the Block is taking place at the Breslin Center on March 10, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for first year students reserving dorms in groups for next semester. While there are students that may be looking to camp out in preparation for the event, groups are discouraged from waiting before their designated registration time window.
MSU is currently defending its two time cardboard recycling championship title
Michigan State University's Recycling Center is participating in the 2026 Campus Race for Zero Waste, a competition extended to campuses across the country with the goal of motivating colleges to reuse, reduce and recycle. Presently, MSU is leading in cardboard recycled per capita, a subcategory in which they've won back-to-back championships.
MSU Museum’s second annual SciCurious invites guests to fall in love with science
This Valentine’s Day, MSU Museum invites its visitors to think about the world around them with its public outreach event, SciCurious, which presents attendees with an array of scientific collections, live specimens, and interactive activities. SciCurious is set to take place in the MSU Museum’s newly renovated building from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 14th. Anyone can attend, and although registration via the museum’s website is encouraged, it’s not required.
Feeding squirrels and ballet twirls: The many clubs of Margaux Smith
Margaux Smith is a recent Michigan State University graduate who started five clubs during her time on campus. Some of which, the MSU Squirrel Spotters Club and the MSU Ballet Club, have gained a sizable amount of traction among the student body.

Michigan State University students and staff, alongside East Lansing residents, protested the second administration of President Donald Trump outside the Main Library on Tuesday, the first anniversary of his inauguration.
