MSU hosts Big Ten meet amid NCAA roster limit shift
Michigan State Cross Country will host the Big Ten Championship this Friday, as new NCAA roster limits — introduced after a June revenue-sharing settlement — reduce team sizes from 81 to 49 athletes. Despite the changes, head coach Lisa Breznau remains focused on developing local talent and maintaining the team’s strong culture. Excited to host the meet in East Lansing for the first time as head coach, Breznau said both teams are ready to compete and embrace the evolving college sports landscape.
