The MSU field hockey team (0-4) continued its slow start this weekend, losing 3-1 to Boston and 5-0 to Northeastern on the road.
With her fourth consecutive shutout of the season and the 23rd in her career, in Sunday’s 5-0 win against Akron senior goalkeeper Jill Flietstra became MSU’s all-time shutout leader. The shutout allows Flietstra to etch her name into MSU’s record books while passing her current assistant coach Stacy Heller (2000-03).
