Trustees vote on proposed renovations

MSU football players might see themselves in higher definition, should the MSU Board of Trustees authorize the administration to plan for an approximately $8 million scoreboard and sound system replacement at its Friday meeting.

Solid season ends for Spartan volleyball

Head coach Cathy George’s squad accrued a 22-12 record and notched its first tournament win since 2007 with a 3-1 win over Arizona on Friday night. MSU had some quality wins, including 3-1 victories over then-No. 22 Michigan and then-No. 7 Illinois.

Spartans remain focused for rivalry

Coming off a series sweep against Bowling Green — the team’s third series sweep of the season — the Spartans (10-5-1, 6-4-0 CCHA) are playing with a lot of confidence and are focused on playing Michigan this weekend.

The No. 17 Spartans left Indianapolis after a heart-breaking 42-39 loss to No. 10 Wisconsin, and as their third loss of the season, more post-season happenings did not go in their favor.
