MSU head coach Tom Izzo said Tuesday at his weekly press conference that junior guard Kalin Lucas underwent surgery on the ruptured Achilles tendon in his left leg on Tuesday. In that time, Lucious has recorded 26, nine assists, nine steals and eight turnovers.
With Sunday’s 10-3 victory against Oakland at McLane Baseball Stadium at Kobs Field, the Spartans (16-4) have now won 10 straight games.

Jarzen swam in two events Saturday, finishing 24th in the 100-meter butterfly with a time of 47.12 and 32nd in the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 48.24.
