In the lowest scoring game of MSU men’s basketball head coach Tom Izzo’s career, the Spartans were upset by the Iowa Hawkeyes, 43-36, at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. When the buzzer hit 00.0, the Hawks Nest, Iowa’s student section, stormed the floor as “Overrated” echoed off the arena walls.

Wrestling team loses dual meets
The MSU wrestling team dropped two meets this weekend, losing 21-14 to No. 20 Pittsburgh and 29-7 to No. 18 Oklahoma in Norman, Okla. The losses move MSU’s season record to 3-5-0 this season.
