Last-minute goals push Spartans past Lake Superior State, 4-2
It looked like a bad bounce would add to the late-period scoring woes once again for the No. 16 MSU hockey team. On a puck clearing attempt by senior defenseman Matt Crandell, the puck bounced off Lake Superior State forward Kellan Lain and in to the net to tie up the game with a little more than three minutes to play, sending a wave of exasperation through Munn Ice Arena.
