Powerhouse Gym closes doors, merges with Atlas Gym

Powerhouse Gym, 435 Grand River Ave., is set to close its doors Wednesday. The gym and all of its members will combine with Atlas Gym, 4790 S. Hagadorn Road. The new Powerhouse Gym, as it will be called, will be located at the current site of Atlas Gym.

The windshield of a 20-year-old male’s 2000 Ford Explorer was struck by a blunt object sometime between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday, causing an estimated $500 in damage, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
