Michigan State University’s Dairy Cattle Teaching and Research Center has a new machine for its cows, and it could help farmers fight climate change worldwide. The machine, which dispenses treats for cows and analyzes their output, is part of an ongoing climate change project led by MSU animal science professor Dr. Mike Vandehaar.
After over three years of advocacy, MSU alumnus and donor Larry Gaynor's name has been removed from the Eli Broad College of Business Entrepreneurship Lab — formerly the Larry and Teresa Gaynor Entrepreneurship Lab — and the MSU donor list following his racist remarks.

“In Lansing specifically, I feel like we’ve had a self-esteem problem for a little bit,” Pulver said. “It’s been fun to see us coming around to the other side of that and a renewed gritty sense of pride in our city. That’s something I deeply relate to and want to convey. To be able to do that in my hometown is something that’s really cool for me.”
